Educational Qualification for PGCIL Field Engineer/Supervisor:

Field Engineer:

B.E/B.Tech./B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil Engineering/ Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical) + 1 Year Experience

Field Supervisor:

Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent + 1 Year Experience

Age Limit as on the last date: 29 Years. Relaxation is available as per Govt Rules. Check notification

Post wise Vacancies:

Field Engineer (Electrical) – 14
Field Engineer (Civil) – 6
Field Supervisor (Electrical) – 10
Field Supervisor (Civil) – 6

Power Grid Selection Process for Engineers:

The PGCIL Field Engineer/Supervisor selection is based on

1) Round 1: Screening Test ( Written Test/Computer Based)
2) Round 2: Interview /Personal Interview

Application Fees: All candidates who wish to apply can pay Rs 400 for field engineer or Rs 300 for field supervisor.SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from paying application fees.
